The Michigan Family Independence Agency, Lt. Gov. John Cherry and Oakland County attorney Geoffrey Fieger and his wife, Keenie Fieger, will announce a new campaign today to target youth violence using a statewide help line for parents.

The campaign, backed by a $500,000 donation from the Fiegers, will advertise the expanded focus of the FIA's 20-year-old phone line. The line currently offers advice on parenting, said FIA spokeswoman Maureen Sorbet.
