High-profile attorney Geoffrey Fieger is seeking a second personal protection order against a woman he says is stalking him.

In his request for the order, filed Monday in Oakland County Circuit Court, Fieger claims Maija Keywell and a boyfriend have threatened him.

"She's stalking me, and it's gotten really bad," Fieger, 50, said Monday. "This is ridiculous. This woman has gone out of her way to threaten me. I want her to stay away from me. She frightens me at this point."

Keywell, 28, listed in the request as a Detroit resident, could not be reached for comment Monday, The Oakland Press reported.

Fieger's petition requesting the order had not been presented to the judge as of Monday, staffers told the newspaper.

According to the petition, Keywell appeared at a Feb. 16 news conference Fieger was holding in Romulus and tried to hand him a folder. After directing her to an aide, Fieger later learned the folder contained psychiatric records about Keywell.

On Friday, Keywell allegedly called Fieger's Southfield office and said her boyfriend "Earl" was going to come and "take care of Geoffrey."

"This was perceived as a threat of violence," said the petition, which also noted Keywell is prohibited from buying a handgun or obtaining a concealed weapons license.

In 1999, Fieger received a PPO preventing Keywell from approaching him or contacting him by telephone. The order expired after a year.

Keywell at the time denied stalking Fieger, and said she had worked on Fieger's unsuccessful 1998 campaign for governor. Fieger rejected that claim.

Fieger for many years represented assisted suicide advocate Jack Kevorkian, and has handled numerous other high-profile cases in the Detroit area. He hosted a radio talk show in Detroit, has appeared on the syndicated TV show "Power of Attorney" and has signed with ABC to star in a reality-based legal show called "Fieger and Associates."
